What We’ve Done to Build and Maintain Our Employee Experience
Over the last year we’ve completely restructured our benefits program, after an extensive listening tour with a randomized group of employees, to ensure we are caring for the unique needs of each employee during unprecedented times.
We also committed to a range of actions to combat racism and support the Black community at Lever and beyond, and have been diligent about making sure we move the needle. In the past year, we matched employee donations to nonprofits that focus on lifting up the Black community (and actually ended up exceeding our donation goal); offered product discounts to Black-owned businesses; blocked out a whole workday for our employees to contribute to the community around us (including providing concrete resources and recommendations on how everyone can support underrepresented groups); and worked with our partners to produce resources and organize digital events on creating diverse and inclusive work environments.
We also increased the diversity of our own executive team, as well as instated specific recruiting pipeline diversity goals as hiring picked up this year.

We also received off the charts scores when it comes to company fairness. An incredible 100% of our employees shared that they feel like they are consistently treated fairly by everyone within the company regardless of their gender, race, and background. Additionally, 98% of employees said they are given an opportunity for special recognition company-wide.
According to Great Place to Work research, job seekers are 4.5 times more likely to find a great boss at a Certified great workplace. Additionally, employees at Certified workplaces are 93% more likely to look forward to coming to work, and are twice as likely to be paid fairly, earn a fair share of the company’s profits and have a fair chance at promotion.
